Ha Ji Won Donates Her Books

Especially that Christmas time approaches, many Korean celebrities are embracing the spirit of generosity by giving back to society. Actress Ha Ji-won donated 1,000 copies of her memoir titled “This Moment” to Seoul’s YMCA for a good cause.

Ha Ji-won’s donation was in partnership with her book publisher, Book Log. According to representative Kim of Book Log, “We have high hopes that our donation will help less fortunate kids to achieve their dreams and aspirations in life.”

The theme of “This Moment” centres Ha Jiwon’s philosophy of living life to its fullest. The title explains it all, as Ha Jiwon expresses in her book that the best moment of one’s life is the one he/she is living right now. The book, which is Ha Jiwon first memoir, teaches readers on how to live enjoy every moment with a heart filled with passion.

Initially, Ha Jiwon decided to donate a portion of her royalties from the book to the sick children at Severance Hospital. However, she decided to give the donation in full as a way of expressing her gratitude for the public’s support. With this, Ha Jiwon hopes to encourage everyone to take the same move and give back however way they can.
