Ha Ji Won chooses ‘Secret Garden’ co-star Hyun Bin as the closest male actor

The cast of new movie ‘The Huntresses‘ gathered for the January 29 installment of SBS‘s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment.’  Our amazing yeoja, actress Ha Ji Won, went up at one point to answer questions, one of which asked whom she was closest to out of all the male actors she knew.

She said, “Hyun Bin,” who was her co-star in the hit drama ‘Secret Garden.’  She said, “He sends me texts that say, ‘Fighting, Seung Nyang (her character in drama ‘Empress Qi‘).”

Actor Joo Sang Wook showed some signs of disappointment so she asked him to show her some support. He said, “Fighting,” then asked which actor she wanted to work with in her next production. Sensing he was still unhappy with her previous answer she said, “Joo Sang Woo,” which led him to say a more energetic, “Fighting!”. 😀

And considering how we miss our amazing Namja, Hyun Bin, here is his teaser trailer of his upcoming movie The King’s Wrath.

Meanwhile, let’s have a happy dance as our JB’s ship is STILL sailing smoothly. Ahem, we actually kinda KNEW that, right? Wooohooo.

Ha Ji Won Celebrated with Her Fans Secretly After Awards

“Do you know who I think of when I’m really struggling?” asked Ha Ji Won. “When I go through difficult times, the ones that I think of are my fans, more so than my mom and dad. I want to do my best so that my fans can be proud of me.”

The actress’s agency rep told enews, “We didn’t report the event because it was prepared just for fans. The fans who were gathered that night were also the ones who had gathered when she received an award for her drama Damo in 2003. We really appreciate their continued love and support.”

Ha Ji Won shows off her perfect disguise

Actress Ha Ji Won, who is currently starring in the popular MBC drama ‘Empress Ki,’ updated her Instagram with an amusing picture!

“Perfected the art of disguise,” she wrote, showing herself dressed like a well-to-do man in historical Korea, complete with a magnificent mustache!  She is even wearing a pair of anachronistic sunglasses to further increase the comedic effect.

It’s a great costume, although we’re not sure how well the disguise would work in 21st-century Korea!

Ha Ji Won actually slept while filming ‘The Huntresses’

The press conference for upcoming South Korean movie ‘The Huntresses’ was held recently at Seoul’s CGV Wangsimni, and saw the presence of Ha ji Won, Kang Ye Won, Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In, and Joo Sang Wook.

Ga-In said during the conference, “There was a scene involving Ha Ji Won unni where she had fainted due to pain and was being carried away before her death. But her acting really felt like she had fainted, and I thought that she was a really talented actress for that. But in actual fact, she had fallen asleep. That take was really long, so she slept. I always thought everything about her was perfect, but she is also mortal like us.”

Ha Ji Won explained, “I have to admit that when it comes to sleeping scenes in dramas or movies, I usually just go to sleep like real.”

‘The Huntresses’ is a movie about three beautiful musketeers back in the Joseon period, and stars Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In. The movie will premiere on January 29th.
